Resident Not Evil, just Bad....
I am entitled to my opinion just like everyone else and for years and years i have heard about how great RE1 is. I did play the game myself (of course) but despite the real action cutscenes, this game only seems like a low budget movie made for tv.
the hype that it is so good and scary. is just a rumor or words made by people who does not know what good or scary is. the hype for a first game (like tekken 1 and RE1) are overrated.
For me, RE2 should have been number 1. a two disc story, that game is what RE1 should have been. for me the diffrence in apperance, story, control/gameplay it is such a diffrence between 1 and 2. so with the hype just expanding - this game is not all what it is cracked up to be. for me it was a very huge disapointment since i did play it after RE2.
The evolution to RE3 is awesome. i love that game aswell. but ONE will never be a good game. i dont even think the remake for GC is any good. it might be better then the orignal, but nothing can beat RE2.
Not even directors cut, did anything for me. i even like RE: survival more. a game that you have to go through surviving and if you die, you start over. good game.
what they hype for RE1 came from, i do not know. because it really sucks. i would understand if RE2 had been RE1.
