Good Game and Concept

I decided to wait on to purchase the RE Rev2 until the full version was out, Over this weekend I got sometime to crack it open and have a try at it!

I'll start off with saying the last RE I played was RE5 and I true enough I bought it for both my 360 and my ps3 cause I loved it ! I didn't get to play 6 it went off to my youngest brother with all 62 of my ps3 games and my ps3 shortly after getting my XB1 and PS4. The zombies in this series have a very unique look to them and I am not far enough into the story to actually determine if its just the area (being on an island and having the salt in the air) or if its just a newer look. So I start the game and its pretty hands on with hidden items and hidden messages from an unknown source and of course my fav from RE5 BSAA medals ! As I am going though the 1st chapter I noticed that these zombies require a little more then just a head shot to take care of them which is something I personally like it keeps me on my toes, but one thing I cannot say I enjoy as of yet and maybe it just hasn't grown on me is the skill tree there's so many skills here that you are stuck in saying well if I don't level this up but I level this instead how will that help my game play. So far I finished Chapter one and yes like most the RE games it had me on the edge of my seat, which is why again I enjoy this series! Another aspect I am enjoying is that dark and grainy look that they are using as the current filter it helps the whole environment just pop out and as for the PS4 edition the fire looks so real as if you are there, so the effects are stunning!

I am really enjoying the Raid mode also I have spent a little bit of time doing the missions that they have and I have to say some these missions like the story mode give me that welcoming RE feeling that Oh shoot gotta run for your life or else your going to get killed feeling. I have spent more time in Raid Mode simply because when its late nights here my wife doesn't want to hear me start jumping and yelling when a zombie just comes around a corner that your not expecting but it happens in Raid also when they just spawn at your feet LOL! All in all this game isn't just for a Hardcore RE fan but also anyone who likes a little bit of challenges and a good scare! I hope you've enjoyed my review and as I play more I would like to add more thanks again !
