We all know we had to wait an extra month for this game and now I see why....

Capcom had made all the Resident Evil fans wait a whole extra month for this game's release. When it did finally come out I learned it was well worth the wait. When you put in the game you're thinking it will be just like the original Outbreak. That's where you're wrong. Sure, many things are the same but then the new gameplay is something new. There are 5 contributing scenarios, a training level, plus 6 "for fun" scenarios. Not only are there 11 all new scenarios but there are also new gameplay controls such as: walking and shooting, picking up on items while crawling, and each character has a two new things. There's 8 playable characters plus many,many unlockable characters. PLUS! You can convert your characters from the original over to this game. Overall you're looking at 50+ characters. Each character has a voice over that is done extremely well. The scenarios are all detailed very well. Whether it's a stroll in the zoo or a trip to the forest, you'll be amazed at how detailed each scenario is. Not to mention the detail in the characters and enemies. Some enemies are very scary looking, so scary they could send a chill down you're spine. The sound in this game is also a huge plus. As I said the voiceovers are done extremely well. The cutscenes will have characters with actors who show real emotion in their voice. Sometimes you'll even here a dreadful scream that could give you goosebumps. Also the scary moans of zombies or screeching sound of crows are done well also. Now, about the online play. If you think playing online ruins the game, simply, don't play online. If online play stops you from buying this game then that's pretty dumb. This game is great offline and online. I prefer online but not everyone does. Overall, the game is a great addition to the series....9.5/10!!!
