I'll give you the short version: I loaded this game up, thinking "yeah, Capcom never lets me down". I didn't care for the shooting mechanics from the onset, the aiming was off and the gun was ridiculously wobbly for a simple assault rifle, but I gave it a chance because RE games tend to take a while to pick up steam. I proceeded through the first level, disliking the some-timey nature of the cover system, the lack of power of the guns, and the woeful melee collision detection (somethin RE games never really get right). I'll press on, I thought. Then, about six instances of my teammates running in front of my gun when I was shooting, I began to get frustrated. When one my CPU controlled allies started running in the opposite direction of the objective, hit a wall and kept running in place FOREVER, I'd had enough. I didn't make it past the first level.
