I don't get how people are still saying this game is horrible. For one, the series IMO has kept getting better and the action is a necessity when something is evolving. As a Gamer you can only stick with the same thing for so many times, and many reviewers always complain when a game sticks to the same thing for too long. Look at Dynasty Warriors, the first 3 games were amazing... then they kept doing the same thing OVER, and OVER and OVER again till people forgot about it. So how do people expect Resident Evil 6 to go back to the same style as 3 and before? Seriously? I understand that Resident Evil 1-3 Had it's best moments because it was scary and had many puzzles, but how long can you really be afraid of the same thing? Back when you guys played these games you were kids, of course you were scared. Get over it. It's a new game and the game has to evolve with the story, the zombies are made to be smarter, so you have to be able to react with the new battlefield. You can't be walking while a zombie is about to pounce on you and all you can do is aim either up or down or something retarded like that. Reviewers aren't looking at what they should, take the game for what it is. It's a new RE6.

The games controls are fine, you may have to get used to it at first since you can now manually dodge and melee, but when you get the hang of it it's not such a problem. It's almost like gears of war with how you should be using these actions. You just have to know when to do it.

The visuals are amazing, the best in the series by far, probably ever. Yeah sometimes you feel like you're watching a movie and rather fight, but i think they put a good mixture of both Actions and Movie based clips for you, and at times the button sequence makes you stay on your toes just in case you think you're just watching the game.

The story so far from what I've seen (I haven't beaten the game yet I'm taking my sweet time getting skills) Is Good, I was being pulled into Leon/Helena's story. The way they made the two progress was perfect, and the voice acting is spot on with how they should be feeling.

I haven't so far encountered any bugs, though sometimes the camera can be annoying, but it wasn't so annoying that i felt like it ruined the game so much that it would piss me off. And as for certain events where sometimes you just die I.E Cars coming out of no where that can kill you, or trains and sometimes button sequences don't pop up. It wasn't that bad, they happen the same way every time you restart so you'll know what to do next time around when you arrive at the same spot. No Biggy.

The game also has replay value that will keep you playing for many days to come, Mercenaries keeps me a bit busy when i feel I don't want to progress with the story line too much, and wanting to get extra costumes just to see how awesome or funny the characters can look keeps me wanting to play this extra content.

In my opinion this game deserves at least a 8.5 I didn't feel like I was being cheated as far as I progressed, the bosses had their fair share of trial and error and the story so far is amazing. I've been waking up and playing this game for 7 hours straight just hoping on other players games just to help out and collect skill points. The game is worth a try at the very least, you won't regret it.
