Not a fan of the survival horror genre... But I must say this game is AWESOME!!!

This game pure plainly superb. I've heard of the RE series for a long while, but I was never into survival horror. However, after playing this game at my friend's house for an hour I was hooked. Drove and got myself a copy right away. Graphics are gorgeous....well gorgeous being detailed and well-designed...cuz I'll admit those "Bad Guys" do look like bad guys, lol. Gameplay is brilliantly. No longer do I go into a cutscene and just sit back and relax. During moments of a cutscene you are given a prompt to press button(s) to conclude the outcome of that cutscene. Sometimes it is a matter of life and death "literally". You move in 3rd person and shoot in 1st-person and depending on which body part you shoot the villagers respond to it. Shoot 'em in the feet-they trip, hands-they drop the weapon, head-they stagger, and so on. Sounds are great and fits perfectly with the mood. However, I must say dialogue do have its "corny" moments.
Overall, I highly recommend this game for any action or survival horror fans. Heck first-person shooter people, you prolly will like this game as much as I do. This is coming from myself, who is extremely into 1st-person shooter. Ignore those lame idiots who complained about the GC to PS2 transition or the difficulty levels. Trust me this game will kick your ass and you can play it on harder lvls to further test ur capabilities. Also this is PS2 graphics at its finest.
