Still a fun game to pick up and play.
Resident evil 2 is the first RE game I have ever owned and man I have to say that this game is incredibly fun to play even to this day. The control scheme is like a tank but in all honestly I think it is easy enough to get use to. Nothing like running through a city filled with zombies and the like just shooting and looking for ammunition and healing items to help you if you're low on health.
Not to mention there is some puzzle solving in this game as well and sadly..backtracking ugh. My only gripe with the game really is the backtracking.
Also the game does have cheesy voice acting, but, I like the cheesiness of it. It really does make me laugh and brings back memories hah.
Being able to play as 2 different characters is pretty neat as well. Both Leon and Claire go through the same areas but some things are different and such.
The replay value of this game is also high as well. When you finish the game with one character you can load the completed data with the other, and you will play and go through some new areas and more of the story is revealed. Also you get to see what that character went through and saw in scenario B while you were playing with a different character in scenario A.
All in all, I would have to say that this is probably my favorite Resident Evil game, and you should pick this game up now if you haven't already! Stop reading this review and play! :)
