This was one of my early PS2 games, and what can I say...This is a definitely a game you should own. First off, this game looks great. It has a fun graphical style and presentation that really plays in to the action and adventure in the game. Every level has its own theme and sets a mood for the game. The environments are big and look great. The gameplay in Going Commando is solid. The controls are responisive and easy to pick up and get started, but also takes skill to fully master. Included are tons of weapons to choose from, each with a unique way of annihilating your enemies. As you progress, you pick up bolts (currency in the game) and buy new weapons. You can even upgrade the ones you have for even more destructive capability. One really great thing this game does is just reintroduce the fact that blowing stuff up rocks. Though don't let that make you think it's a shallow game. It has an entertaining back story and tons of interesting characters. It has a great sense of humor, which can be hard to find in some games. The characters and animated and memorable and you'll seem to grow attached to them deeper into the game. Overall, it's just a great game to play and an excellent value.
