Awesome weapons, gadgets, and replayibility but doesn't match up to Original.
The upgradable weapons and new gadgets arent what bring this game down, its the storyline. The last R&C had a hilarious and well written storyline. Your mission this time around seems like an mere extra from the original game and doesnt have the same spark and humor found in the first game.
Beside from the story the new upgradable weapons and amusing gadgets are a definite improvenment from the original. The fact that you can totally change your weapon and make it more powerful forced me to use it until I could fully upgrade it. Even now after I have finished the game Im still logging in hours buying and upgrading weapons just to see what they turn in to.
Overall rachet and clanks gameplay, characters, and heavy arsenal lead to a solid game. With a more interesting story line, this game would have by far surpassed the original.
