GREAT GAME! Has multiplayer simultaneously without a split screen!! If you like fishing games GET IT!!
GRAPHICS: I'd have to say that this is probably one of the best, if not the best WII game for graphics. The environment looks very organic and natural. Obviously its got its weaknesses compare to the PS3 and 360 versions, like jaggys, texture etc... But either way considering that its on the WII and looks the way it does. SCORE: 10/10
SOUND: The sounds in the game are also pretty good. The enviromental sounds have been recorded very well and sound true and fresh. I like hearing the fishing line spool out of the reel when i cast. For the music however im more of a "turn the music off" type of gamer most of the time. They seem to have a decent sound track however, also with an option to choose mellow music or a more heavier type of music. SCORE: 9/10
CONTROLS: The controls are AMAZING! They actually used real motion controls in the casting so if you raise your arm, lower it etc.. the character in the game does the same in real time. This makes for easy casting and also a more fun to play game. One thing im not to big of a fan of is that when your reeling in the fish you seem to have to follow instructions on the screen and they are a little repetitive. Pull left, pull right, left right, (basically the opposite of what the fish is doing. In real life i reel the fish in the way i want, why couldnt they keep it that way! SCORE 8/10
GAMEPLAY: This game has a multiplayer mode that doesnt use a split screen!!! You fish at the same time!! I LOVE IT! Theres many species of fish, many lakes, lures are pretty good but they are limited to only Rapala stuff which make sense but also kinda sucks a little. Theres also different boats and you can adjust the weather, time of day and time of year in the quick Free fish mode. Me and my buddy played this for a while and had a great time. Theres no dumb story lines. You can start a tournament that has many different challenges. Or just simply go into Free fish mode and start challenges in there when you find them spread accross the lakes with read markers. SCORE 9/10
CONCLUSION: This is the best console fishing game out there, BASS Pro shops The Strike would come in second place. Trophy Bass 4 for the PC is probably the best for the PC even though its graphics are dated.
