Well designed apocalyptic environment with a fair story to follow.
This game was a strong publicized during several months before launched. High expectation was created due to the new engine which this game was developed. Let's say that the engine is good but far from being impressive. I haven't tested in Xbox and PC but in PS3 takes long time to load the entire texture of the environment, sometimes annoying because the time the game took to develop.
The environment is impressive. The sound is normal. The story is interesting to follow, nothing deep.
The gameplay is very polished, good mechanic to choose weapons and bullets.
I haven´t completed any of the side quest because there a lot games to beat (mass effect 3, final fantasy XIII-2, skyrim, etc) so I can't tell about that, however, the main story took me 11 hours to beat. Many missions, some long and difficult, some easy and short.
I recommend this game to everyone who wants some different shooter game. With different environment, different story, different enemies (some of them difficult to lock and shoot).
