The most addictive game on the PSP. Would be a perfect 10 if it wasn't for the occasional slow down. A must play!
Pros:
-Addictive and hard to put down once you get into it- Lends itself to "one more foe before I'm done" game-play
-Good graphics (pretty much the same found on PC)
-Good music
-Simple to get into, tough to master
-Great for on-the-go gaming (although I've spent hours at home playing also!)
-Minimal loading after initial game start-up
-Easy controls
Cons:
-Slowdown at times (Why should a puzzle game have slow down?!)
-Boss battles sometimes too simple as rest of "base/easy" foes pick up capability as you get stronger)
-On-line vs. mode would be fun
-Slightly unbalanced game-play as wizard as they can become too powerful, too quickly and basically overpower all remaining foes.
The sequel is set in space. I'm hoping that the team is working on a direct sequel that address the minor issues in my cons section and release the ultimate puzzle game.
