Simply sublime. Everything that made the original so great, multiplied by 100

User Rating: 9.5 | Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice PSP
Pursuit Force was the first game I ever got for my PSP. It was what made me believe that the PSP could be good. Sadly, most of the other games aren't of a high quality and just fall back into insignificance.

When I heard there was going to be a sequel to pursuit force, my first thought was that it would be a let down. You can't improve on perfection right?

Wrong

Everything that was fun in the first one and everything that was missing has been added. Multiplayer? Check. New vehicles? Check. An ACTUAL STORYLINE? check!

The environments push the PSP to its very limits. There were a couple of instances of slowdown, but most of the time the game runs at a stead 30fps+. The cities and roads are far improved over the previous game. You'll be saying "Hey that's the bank where that robbery took place" and "Look it's that place where I blew up the tank." Oh yeah... there's tanks.

The game has plenty to offer in the way of car jumping. Even that was improved. By far, the highlight of the game for me is early on where you go on a mission with Ashley.

She too can jump from car to car and, before long, both of you are leaping from car to car, car to bike and back again.
"I'm in trouble on a truck!"
"Oh wait there is Ashley leaping onto the car with me" as we hijack the truck together.

The storyline was surprisingly good and not too clichéd.

Overall, the game improved on everything the first one set up and includes far more variety in missions and is just plain fun.
