An excellent game that I would still play now and again if I still had a copy.

This is a game that I wish would be adopted by one of the console developers in order to rebuild the game itself and reinvent the franchise. Both the narrative and the gameplay were excellent, especially at the time that the game was initially released. With modern console hardware I feel that the few shortcomings of the game could easily be overcome.

Too few of the truly enjoyable FPS games for the PC have been translated over to the console systems, and that's a disappointing thing at times.

I spent countless hours playing through Project I.G.I., having completed the game a couple of times, seeing if I could successfully complete one mission or another without being observed by guards or security systems, trying (frequently without success) to sweep through mission after mission without being forced to restart due to an unfortunate demise.

It would be nice to think that this particular FPS hasn't been forgotten.
