@qioden @Uberdruck Add a cover system, new mechanics that didn't exist before. Maybe more melee combat, climbing mechanics, etc. This trailer showed none of that and I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing it. Take a look at Farcry 3 for example, you could slide, do multiple take down kills, climb up obstacles, para glide across the map, take cover behind objects and other stuff. That's innovative and adds new gameplay mechanics. Battlefield has stayed the same for over a decade.
@Setho10 I agree. Graphics were the only thing that took a big jump, but as far as gameplay is concerned, nothing has changed at all. Well, looks like I'm getting Killzone: Shadowfall. At least, that game likes to be original and innovative.
Footage looked awesome! Actually, my favorite Quantic Dream game was Indigo Prophecy for the PS2, and I feel like it's going to be really hard for them top that game. But it looks like they are doing so with this game. I'm really happy they are going back their supernatural roots as it makes their games more interesting. I liked Heavy Rain, but I was just a bit disappointed that it didn't involve anything supernatural, but it was a really terrific game; a great change of pace from all the Goddamn FPSs nowadays.
