If I thought that he (or she, don't forget lesbians) had agreeable views, then of course I'd vote for that candidate.

It doesn't matter whether he/she is black, hispanic, white, asian, physically handicapped, gay bisexual, rich, poor, or anything else. If I agreed with his/her views, I'd vote for him/her.
