Let's get one thing out of the way - I have had an XBOX360 for 2 years and recently bought the PS# mainly for MGS4. I already had the X360 version of Assassin's creed and bought the PS3 one for one reason - Gamespot said that the framerates on PS3 were better(refer to AC review on gamespot).

So in my eternal faith, i went ahead and bought the game and booted it up to find that Gamespot had apparently their heads up someone's A#%. The game frankly SUCKS on the PS3 in terms of the framerate. In fact the internet is wrought with hundreds of articles and forum discussions citing this exact same problem. The difference, guys, is so huge that its insane. The PS3 is easily 10 fps behind on almost any point in the game. I have both of them running at 1080i on HDMI on my TV and side by side playing reveals almost ridiculous differences.

I am so dissappointed in GS its not even funny. We trust these guys for their honest reviews and then they do something like this. Even IGN has cited the same thing about the huge difference in the frama rate.

I am surprised no one else has raised a flag on this yet.
