@mastergundam if you haven't played MGS 2 & 3, then of course this is a better deal than Gravity Rush. I wanted to buy this also, but I played both MGS 2 & 3 before. If only they put Peace Walker in.. then it'd be a no-brainer!
I'll wait a few weeks/months after the release date. I want to know if there's any hardware/software bugbears in Vita. If there is, I might as well wait for Vita R2 (something like PSP-200x/300x). Also, since Nintendo slashed the price of 3DS, I'm kinda hoping Sony will do something similar in not-so-distant future, especially with a lot of competitions with other gaming-capable devices. Yes, I'm sure I'll drool all over when people around me are already happily playing Vita come next week, but I'm prepared to wait a bit.
MG:R is more like a spin-off. anyway MGS5 is in early development last I heard? no worries, the real stealth MGS is still alive. Bioshock Infinite definitely looks smooth! The Last of Us seems interesting as well.
I used to not prioritise music back in PS1 era. But from PS2 onwards, as every devs can come up with sufficiently good graphics thanks to improved hardware, and everyone is running out of creative stories to make, music becomes the third pillar that holds the game together. I like the music of Chrono Cross, Metal Gear Solid series, FF7 and FF10, Ace Combat series, The Last Remnant, to name a few.
The pace at which the hardware is evolving is unbelievable. I played Sega when I was 6-yrs old, and I am playing PS3 now as an university undergrad. I wonder what kind of console will I play when I am in my 30s? :D
