[QUOTE="blackleather223"]For that amount there are some on tigerdirect that look to be nice but you know what I just remember that most of them have mics so don't know.Broken_Tulip

Ya but if the mic is adjustable so that it would be on the left side along with the left speaker than it wont be that annoying.

But ya i will search for some with no mic.Are there more expensive ones with no mic?

Bose is an option if you are willing to drop $150+

No that's too expensive.

I think i should go to some gaming zone and have a game and wear the headsets and see how i feel.I have used them before but only with CS and you dont really bother with things like comfort while playing CS.:P

lol, yeah I hear ya. I think no matter what you get, the key, when wearing glasses is to get a headset that completely cups your ears, and is tight enough to not rest on the top of your ears. For anybody saying "why cant you just wear contacts" I do, but i kind of forget to blink while gaming sometimes lol, so they dry out too much, so I wear glasses.

Well ok can you adjust the mic on that headset so that it is on the side of one of the speakers and not in front of you?

And secondly can i get a headset in let's say $50 that's substantially better than that $20 one.

Broken_Tulip

Yeah that mic can swing to the side, however since you wear glasses I really woundnt go that route. I have a pair of behringer headphones that I wear when I play my guitar, they are 3/4 inch, however they make converters for like 3 dollars, either way nobody online sells them, I got them at a local guitar shop for 50 dollars. I would recommend going to a guitar shop, and looking at what they have, best thing about it is you can try them out.

i own the plantronics gamecom1 headset and they ae really comfortable and have decent sound quality

i have used them for like 12 hours straight and i feel like there not even there they are also extremley light and wont have any pressure on your neck it has a mic but you can easily move it to the top so it doesnt bother you and it has a mic jack so since you dont want to use a mic just dont plug it in

and there only 20 bucks on the egg ;)

I have those too, they are nice, and provide good sound, however comfort is a person by person thing, and I find that after 4 hours or so of wearing them, my ears hurt. I wear glasses so this is probably why, but they are a good headset.

[QUOTE="millerlight89"][QUOTE="debusentel"]

In a few years and its the one I'll most likely get because its my opinion that Microsoft has written off Vista for this new OS and thats why Vista is not getting the proper support it needs. But thats just my opinion and could be wrong.

debusentel

You are wrong, look Vista is a great OS, people need to learn how to use it, but they are too damn lazy.

Not for business needs its not.

I couldnt agree with that more. I personally dont have Vista on my PC, everyone of my friends do, and its nice, not great, nice. XP is way better imo because im used to it, and the bugs are mostly worked out. However at work we have Vista on our computers, and with some of the data programs we use at work, its a mess. I guess its just the business edition.

yeah I checked the monitor, and the ram, I thought I said that above, sorry if I didnt. There is no RMA on the mobo, its just a out-of-pocket deal. Thats why I want a second thought.

Never heard anything good or bad about that PSU, it does have one PCI-e connector, so one GPU will be fine.

Yeah different GPU's in different slots. So that tells me bad slot, however the bios would still boot without a GPU.
