NES - Innovation (d-pad)
SNES - Better graphics and slight controller change (shoulder buttons)
N64 - Better graphics and innovation (first GOOD analog stick on controller - an older Atari had one earlier, but it fell apart, and didn't automatically center)
GC - Better graphics and slight controller changes (pressure sensitive shoulder buttons, dual analog)
Wii - Better graphics and innovation (motion sensing, pointer, 2 seperate parts of controller [nunchuck & Wiimote], tilt sensing, etc.)
Wii 2 - Better graphics and slight controller changes?

[QUOTE="monkeysrfat"]It is made to play games. Therefore its a consoledarthzew

Yes, but they aren't the same sort of games. Cooking Mama, Wario Ware... It's just not the same. A lot of portable DVD players are starting to come with games in them. Should those be considered part of the handheld market?

Here's a list of some good games that AREN'T minigames:

Now:
Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Paper Mario
Mario Strikers Charged
Metroid Prime 3
Trama Center: Second Opinion
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
Elebits
Excite Truck
Sonic and the Secret Rings

Rest of 2007:
Battalion Wars 2
Zack and Wiki
Fire Emblem
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
No More Heroes
Trama Center: New Blood
NiGHTs: Journey Into Dreams
Dewy's Adventure
Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast
Endless Ocean
Geometry Wars: Galaxies
Guitar Hero 3
Manhunt 2
MySims

2008:
Dragon Quest Swords
Mario Kart Wii
Final Fantasy: CC
Kirby Wii
De Blob
Disaster: Day of Crisis
Mushroom Men
Saddness
Tales of Symphonia 2
Kings Story
God Game (unnamed)
Horror Game (unnamed)

These are most of the games I can think of at the moment, as I know I must have forgot a few.

What if I appreciate the Wii just as much as the PS3 and 360?

P.S. You play video games on the Wii, thus, it is a video game system.

I usually play them in these situations:

~DS:
-When friends are over (I don't have more than one Wiimote)
-When I'm in car/plane/bus.
-When I'm at friends house's for multiplayer action.
-For when I feel like some Online multiplayer in Metroid Prime Hunters/Mario Kart DS.
-When I get a new DS game.

~Wii:
-When I want to play some videogames at home.
-When I want to play some Virtual Console games.
-When I want to play my Gamecube games.
-When I want to use some of the channels (Weather, News, Everybody Votes, Internet).
-When I get a new Wii game.

I'd say I use them pretty evenly.

that the wii is the worst of the three next gens. i got my wii OPENING day, returned it after a week and got a 360. 3 months later i bought a ps3. im extremely happy with the 360 and happy with the ps3. i think the wii is bad because, it is inteded for the family of four, with a 7 year old son and a 5 year old daughter. childish games, horrible graphics, terrible memory only 480p hd support

God, I have to read from this guy AGAIN! (he made something like this in the Wii forum) *slams head against wall to try and erase thoughts of reading this*

Jaws for NES. I got it for my birthday, and I was like, "HOMG JAWS!". But when I played it, and beat it in five minutes, I was like "This is it...?!". Yup, that was a disapointing day... :(

Strangely, for all of my 3D VC Games (Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time), on the edges of the envirements ,I get white lines (like on stair edges, houses, doors, etc). I don't remember those in the original versions, so I'm wondering if it's just me or not?

P.S. On 2D games, I don't have these graphical glitches.

That has nothing to do with Nintendo, it has to do with EA.
