Whatever, I still think it's a blast. It just depends how you look at it. First off, LBP3 just came out. So it's gonna be awhile before they patch stuff up, and before the online community/user content starts to grow.

Secondly, I don't care what you say, LBP isn't a game you play by yourself or online. It's a game where you actually sit down and play with friends. Whoever reviewed this was probably doing just that, and playing alone or online. Of course it's gonna be a 7 when you do that. But as a game that you can sit in a room with your buddies and all get drunk and play together, it's totally a 10.

@RyogaRod Yeah... I had a friend who picked it up. From what he said the online-co-op and some of the other new features make the game fun as hell. But, he also said the short/poor storyline and gameplay glitches weighed it down a lot. Not to mention, he said the stealth kills in this one look atrociously bad. I'd wait to buy pre-owned with Unity.

Dark Souls: actually challenging

Destiny is fun to play and I like it. But I feel like I need my head examined after spending 60 dollars on that utter disappointment. Is Destiny a good game, will it occupy your time? Yes. Is it actually worth buying? Only if you're used to being bored of a game after owning it for 2 weeks and you enjoy wasting a good portion of your paycheck.

My review for Destiny: The shooter gameplay that bungie has created in this game is a blast. The mechanics are smooth as ever, the environments are detailed as ever, and the feel of the gun-play is near perfect. But that absolutely does not excuse the complete absence of a storyline, lackluster character customization, lack of variety in regards to loot, completely repetitive mission objectives, low level cap (30 at max I believe) and the overall short-run of the game. (In total, there are only 4 playable planets in Destiny: Earth, Earth's moon, Venus, and finally Mars) Suffice to say, I was already disappointed with the game before I beat it. But I was even further disappointed when I realized that Destiny would not continue onward to Saturn and Jupiter and that I really was stuck with such little content to play with.

Destiny is a fun game, yes. But sadly, the game does not contain enough content to be worth even 30 dollars. So if you really enjoy mindless, monotonous shooters that are relentlessly repetitive, and super dull.... Destiny is right up your alley. Otherwise... I'd wait till Destiny is a good 20 bucks or so pre-owned.

Bungie says they'll be releasing new content for Destiny.... which I'm sure they will, and I'm sure it won't be free. Which is only another reason to hawk this now while the game's still new.
