Graphically, an interesting piece, but they only touched on many of the gameplay changes that have gone on throughout the series. In terms of graphics, it is good to have a comparison of the first three games, to see just how much extra they managed to wring out of not only the PS2, but also the original GTAIII engine. Of course the graphics are going to kick ass... the technology is superior. But it's the gameplay that has really matured... motorbikes, relationships, clothing, eating... in SA, they threw everything at us and actually saw what we responded best to. The gameplay is much more mature this time around, with fewer gimmicks, and even minus a few of the better liked parts of previous games, in line with Nico's more established history as a killer (bicycles would have been nice, but I can't see him doing bunny hops; just like improving his gun skills - the man's meant to be a trained killer already). Sure, they did a good job with the graphics, but it's pretty hard to make them worse when you're dealing with so much extra power. It's the gameplay that has truly evolved and proved to be the most impressive element of this franchise.
