To those crying about why Gearbox and Gamespot have not yet done an interview about ACM.
Maybe it's because ACM was so poorly received? That would be a short interview; "yeah, we know you all think it sucked. We know about all the things you thought made it suck. We've learned our lesson in not outsourcing assets, and not making late minute changes, and not showing you previews of the game's progress. We'll try to do better next time." The end.
Borrriiiinngg. Depresssiiinngg.
No one want's to watch an interview by a developer droning on about a miserably failed game everyone hates. I fail to understand how that would be a good thing for everyone involved from a business, professional, or personal aspect.
And, how many times does someone have to be stung before they stop grabbing at wasps? This is the very reason I would NEVER pre-order a game, even if it was HL3 from Valve, who I love. Even if someday I lost my mind and did pre-order a game, and it ended up as disappointing, I wouldn't act like the developer came in my home and killed my life long favorite pet, like many of you here. My goodness.
With that said, I love BL, BL2, and their DLC's. Keep it up Gearbox. I can't wait for what you have in store continuing on with this series.
Gamespot gave this game such a low review score because the guy who wrote the review (Tom McShea) hated the main protagonist based on some poor preconceived bias?
If so, shame on Gamespot. 8.0 is ridiculous.
Shaun Mcinnis, your opinions were spot on. I agree with you 100%. Maybe Gamespot should let you do more of these types of reviews and leave Tom to do Nintendo games.
