By saying they "dramatically over-delivered Switch units", are they saying they sent too many out? Absolute RUBBISH! It took me 5 MONTHS to find one after release, and that was just by pure chance! I have the striking feeling they have a kjghpillion Switches in some warehouse right now and are controlling how many get released to stores to make them seem like they're having trouble keeping up with demand. SMH.
I've never had an Xbox before, and I definitely won't now. Paying 35 pounds plus however much you pay for the used game would cost more than just buying the game new! (Which may be the commpany's point/goal, but....) I would dislike it, but I could understand a $2 or $5 activation fee... But 35 pounds is just obnoxious.
I think that's WAY too much to be paying to activate it. I can understand a $2-$5 dollar fee, but 35 pounds is just crazy!!! I've never had an Xbox system, and I definitely won't now. I was pretty disappointed when the Wii U came out, and I went to test the store display when I was at the store for something unrelated one day, and there were ABSOLUTELY NO demos to play, just videos to watch. If they don't come out with some games soon, this'll be another Virtual Boy. I just would've waited to release the system until there was a huge game out. Like, do they remember something called a "launch game"? Y'know, like Super Mario Bros on the NES, or Sonic the Hedgehog on Genesis/MegaDrive, or something? A game you use to sell the system? -_- I guess they don't remember that...
I've never seen a system up for display without demos, except for the N-Gage, and that's not really a system at all!!! :O
@2complicated Yeah, I totally agree. I waited for about a year to get the 3DS, and even though there's STILL not many games, I'm still real glad I waited. And, I waited three years to get a Wii after it's release, and I'm glad I waited for that, as well.
