If you got only three lights of death that means its something with your cables...unplug it...unplug the HDD let it sit not attached to any wires for like 15mins then plug everything back in. 3 lights just mean its a temp problem with some kind of connection..not a big deal....ALL 4 LIGHT OF DEATH means your system is toast and its time to ship it to Microsoft for tech repair and lets hope u got warranty left on it or else it can cost up like 150 bucks to repair!!!!

3 rings means hardware problem. 4 means wire problem. 2 means toasted.
