screw in the screws so that it doesnt sag down as much, or move the tv tuner card to a lower pci slot.dipper145

The screws are in tight as it can go.

My Tv tunercard can only fits in PCI slot x1 (the small one) and I only have one of those.

My main PCI express slot is the one right beside it so I can't move either. In my old PC the 2 were switched around and I didn't have this problem. So far the eraser is holding it up I hope its safe.

How about a pencil eraser? I cut one in 1/2 and stuck it between them, the ones that's off those wooden pencils.

My graphics card is vibrating(from the fan spinning) and its rubbing against my tv tuner card making a clicking noise. If I gently move my vid card up a lil bit the clicking noise stops. What can I put in between them that won't mess up the cards or anything else? Rubber? Styrofoam? Plastic?

Good timing I did this exact thing today with my new build. What I ended up doing is removing the inner metal conductor that links the wire to the pin and moving it over one into the middle hole.ALLoY1717

I tried to do that but couldn't get the it out, my first build so I didn't wanna ruin anything. Motherboard companies should realize this and include an adapter.

Thanks anna, heh thats one of few things I know how to do in BIOS. I'll guess I'll leave everything in default until I get ready to OC.

I'm doing my first build and I just have a few questions.

1.Do I have to partion my HDD and if so how much space?(500gb HDD)

2. How should I set up my BIOS like voltage, fan speed, and other stuff?(not gonna OC)

My specs will be:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4ghz

Mobo: EVGA 132-CK-NF78 A1 LGA NVIDIA nforce 780i

Gonna use 4GB of Ram
