PC gaming takes adapting, much like anything in life. I don't remember being instantly great at using a controller either, back when I tried console gaming for the first time. That's no reason to quit. A lot of PC games are exclusive and you will just be depriving yourself of some really good titles.
@Agent-M @buzznugget Agent took the words straight out of my mouth. Case to point - it's what developers do. They dumb their games down to appeal to console gamers. It won't effect the current version of the game, but the sequel might receive the dumbing down treatment because they want a more public appeal. It has happened many times before. Do you see why some PC gamers don't want their games to be on consoles? it has nothing to do with "elitism" for the sake of it.
Why is it that every time someone complains about PC gaming being "too expensive", it's always someone who has done zero research, or is still living in a mindset that predates 2003?
Things have changed in the last decade. You don't have to spend upward of 1k to play games. You can very well pay around $600 for a PC that can run any game these days and will probably last you three years. More expensive PCs will last you 4 years if not more. It depends on how you build them. If you buy smart and do research, they will last longer. And if you haven't figured this out by now, you don't need to upgrade every time a new game comes out. This isn't god damn 1995.
@RAD_RADIO is it safe to assume that you're also an idiot? you're defending a game that you know next to nothing about. But nevermind that, from what I have seen so far (what is possible to see), it seems pretty dumbed down to me. Their objective was to sell this game to as many people as possible and the beta was a way for them to advertise, or let people experience the game first hand. It failed in making me feel like it's NOT dumbed down. I have read every article there is to read, what the **** else do you want me to do? I'm not going to buy a game based on some god damn assumption that it's going to get better in some point in the future. If it doest better, I'll be sure to hop on the bandwagon. Is it so difficult for you to comprehend? or are you simply a fanboy seeking approval by everyone else around here?
@RAD_RADIO What about the word "assumption" didn't you understand? Case to point, I did play the beta and I did do quite a bit of research to know what I'm talking about.
Honestly, I don't care about Diablo 3 either way. I'm just curious to see how much further will Bizzard dumb this franchise down before it's deemed accessible to console gamers. And it will port it to the consoles eventually, you can bet on that.
