My 360 is about to go in the shop for refusing to play discs, so when I get it back I won't be dreading the late-October lines at all!

I hear you, and I'd like to see some stats on school/work absenteeism on 9/25. Actually, I wouldn't be at all surprised if I hear about someone so fanatical with Halo 3 that they drop out of school or quit a job just to stay high on the leaderboards.

What I love most is that Infinity Ward wasn't kidding when they claimed CoD4 was going to maintain 60 FPS. Smoothest shooter I've ever played on the 360. Halo 3 will remain the most popular by default, because that's the way it is, but I think I'll enjoy CoD4 more so.

Fight Night is pretty easy, but the 2K6 basketball games are the easiest by far. Honestly, BioShock's 1000 points aren't difficult at all.

That's massive. I'll be able to afford maybe three of those.

Select your Gamercard, then Edit Gamer Profile, then Gamer Picture, then Take Personal Picture.

Paperboy, UNO, and Doom. But find a sale or scrounge up another $4, because 1600 pt cards are $20.

The 360 can be set to play on a regular TV without squashing the picture. Here are the details:

Wouldn't that cut off the side of the picture?

Unfortunately, yes. It would.

That depends on whether or not you need 6X the space on your hard drive for renting HD movies or storing a LOT of music, or if a black system means that much to you. If not, save the $100 and get the premium. But, I haven't seen whether or not the HDMI Premiums come with an HDMI cable. The Elites do.
