Was there a connection between the discontinuation of the 20gb model ps3 and the inclusion of an 80gb model, it might have been a production move to include the 20gb they were making for the lower ended model into the 60gb to save costs. anyway i guess 60gb is enough storage and knowing Sony for there technical innovation it seems strange that they make such an insignificant increase from 60 to 80gb.
Its only a space issue, R* are talented devs and if they cant manage to compress the game on to a dvd-9 then just release it in multiple discs, there's really no reason to blow this issue out of proportion.
MS is bringing a lot of their big 360 titles to the PC so i would say get a good PC so you'll still be able to enjoy 360 games and play big PC blockbusters such as crysis, hellgate. With PC + PS3, you get the best of both worlds :)
it just seems a less of an incentive to buy a 360 if a lot of the previously exclusive games and services (windows live) are going to pc. Oh and cant you play online for free with a silver account for windows live but you have to pay to play online for xbox live.
Putting profit aside from a business perspective, do you think that MS putting big 360 titles; eg, GeoW, Halo 3, Lost planet, Bioshock maybe mass effect? over to the PC gives less incentives for gamers to buy a 360? Obviously there's a time factor and you often get to play the games on 360 first, but for gamers undecided between ps3 and 360, they could buy a ps3 and still be able to (eventually) enjoy playing big 360 exclusives such as Gears on the pc.
Do we actually know what stage of development the game is in?, I remember the devs were saying pre, pre alpha but that was a response to the first screenshot that was leaked.
