I gladly pay my $60 to Microsoft not because Lives’ features are so superior to PS3, quite the contrary, as you stated, everybody else is more or less on the same level of functionality. I pay because it allows me to have an evening of gaming without my head exploding and tossing my controller out the window. You have it backwards, the PS3’s free online service is its downfall not its advantage.
