@Axile11 Sony or Microsoft are not in any condition to purchase Sega today. That shipped has sailed and the company with that kind of clout would be Nintendo. The time anyone could have purchased Sega was 2001-2005 but since then they have become more and more profitable and expect that to continue with the purchase of Relic.
Been 12 years and still waiting for MS to make something worthwhile besides Halo :) All those diverse collection of games that make such a fantastic use of green, grey and red colors :o
This generation in particular has the attention span of a fly and that is the reason gamers are rewarded with 82 different versions of COD with a name change. Imo Sega has a more diverse lineup of IP's than ANY publisher in the past 10 years. Some games dont click I understand but take one look at the shear variety of content and name one other developer that can even come close...
Yeah if any company had the opportunity to purchase Sega when they was broke, close to bankrupt and did not JUMP at the chance to shame on them.
@sladakrobot @R2C25 Sega killed it on Xbox but nobody bought the games :( Panzer Dragoon Orta, Shenmue 2, Outrun, Jet Set Radio Future, Gunvalkrie, Otogi, Otogi 2 etc.
Sega has forgotten more original content than Microsoft,Sony combined
