@the_requiem /agree with @Fanible . I have indeed tailed several NPCs in Skyrim, and some live equally routine lives as in Greenvale. Sure, they don't drive as far... ;) but they sleep, eat, work, hunt, and fight. At least until they took an arrow to th*AXEDBYRAINCOATKILLER*
@ghstbstr It's ok to not like the same things other people do. :)
If you can watch videos of the game (e.g. GB ER) and enjoy the cutscenes or the overall plot, then you do get it. Just watch the Sinner Sandwich moment. That's where the heart of this game is.
If you can't enjoy the gameplay regardless, that's totally understandable. It's like a panacea for routine game design, I think. It's palette cleansing to play something that's borderline broken, that doesn't give you the shortcuts... UNLESS you work for them.
P.S. don't forget you can remap all the buttons. It's way better to have your own more intuitive layout.
@LiveByMeDieByMe It is perhaps unfair to compare the hardware specs (the overhead on a PC keeps growing along with its power). But it is entirely appropriate to compare the games and their subsequent cross-platform port jobs with hamstrung controls and framerate issues. Looking at you, Dark Souls. Looking at you, Calladooty.
Also to be fair, I'm pretty sure "Xbox 720" is a codename too. If they actually call it that, it might be the first time in history that a console maker keeps the defacto public name. R.I.P. Dolphin/Ultra 64.
@SoreThumbsBill I'm surprised they talked about dynamic easy modes without mentioning Ninja Dog in Ninja Gaiden. It was so unashamedly pitying that it made you feel bad for sucking. But that's exactly what the developers and the good NG players wanted to see.
