ok so i hooked up all my wires for live but every time i turn on my xbox it trys to sign on but then says colonel oasis signed in

and my profile says disconnected from live

is live down did someone hack my account or something?

So my cousin today told me that he has 3 red lights whenever he plays GTA IV on his xbox 360 and he thinks its because of his HDD because he plays like 15 mins and then the 3 red lights appear , he tried to play without the HDD and it worked amazingly fine with no problems so here are my questions.


1 - if you havnt played the xbox for nearly a week , does this cause damage to your HDD for not turning it on and leaving it off for long? [ i ask this because i have my 120 GB hidden under my desk for months...because i dont have the money to shell for a memory card , yes memories are expensive where i live ]

2 - does he have to clear the cache?

3 - is it his xbox or his HDD and is there anyway to fix this sort of problem?

check if u have corupted data on your hdd it might be a gta4 save that is messing up the disc or something
