The PS3 does have the right mixture of games and media capabilities. I don't know mucha bout the online so I can't really comment on that, but the hardware I think is over-done. The blu-ray drive, in my opinion, is totally unecessary, it just adds on to the PS3's hefty price. Yea, yea Sony put it in there to get blu-ray out on the market, well that could potentially be their downfall. They boast about high-definition and all of that, but, correct me if im wrong, they come with composite cables. That is such a mystery to me if that's true. So, the games and media capabilities good. Hardware no good because of price. I do not plan on buying one of these systems ever.
