it is because of the PowerPC architecture the 360 uses.
it is the same story with the PS3 and its Cell Processor.
it is why 360/PS3 games couldnt be easily ported to PCs and the x86/x64 architecture.
they do not want to worry about porting the entire 360 library to x86 because that means "hackers" will be able to easily port cracked 360 games to the PC.
but now that the XO/PS4 share the same architecture as the PC, pirating games will be rapent.
microsoft doesnt know the storm they are walking into, whatsoever.
what if someone had a medical condition that prevented them from being able to speak, and thus, use their xbox.
there are people out there who are mute and simply cannot speak.
what if you are deaf/have a speech impediment?
no better way to make the end user feel self concious about themselves than when their new xbox cannot recognize speech commands due to their medical conditions.
