I don't own a PSP, and load times around five times quicker for the DS makes me cringe at what owning a PSP must be like from those results, as the 25 second avarage for the DS doesn't actually feel that fast when I'm playing DS games. In fact, I grow impatient of how long it takes to get going on Animal Crossing: Wild World. Having timed it myself (total nerd, I know) it was 35 seconds. It seems like ages to me. There have been a few angry comments... and I don't see why. However incorrect the results may be (and there is a disclaimer before the test stating that this may be the case), calls for foul play are not necessary. In fact, the defensive manner of many comments seems as if the PSP may be vulnerable to tests like this, for whatever reason. It's just a test, and do your own if you're not happy with the one Gamespot has done. You are acting as if they are stating that those are the official load times above. Not for one second do I believe a game takes 4 minutes to load though. The PSP is a powerful piece of kit, so it will naturally take long to load things, but not that long, surely?

£££ The funky A's just happen. Nintendo are aiming this console at the masses, and I think the majority of people don't own a HDTV. For the people who are scrutinising the Wii's graphics: the console is a small and cheap thing in comparison to the other two rivalling consoles. You can't have massively impressive HD graphics without a lot of heat being produced. For cooling you need fans, and that would just make the Wii bigger and more expensive. I prefer a small, cheap and - bare in mind this is coming from someone who plays a lot retro games - still very nice looking. It is still a feast for the eyes. There is also that interesting audio function on the Wiimote. Hearing the arrow (referencing to TP) leave me and then end up at the TV should work very well.

For me, the Wii is a perfect console. I have a 14" TV in my room which even holds back GameCube graphics - never mind anything in the next generation of gaming. Also being a die hard Zelda fan makes the lauch of the Wii a very exciting prospect. The console isn't that expensive if you consider that you get Wii Sports included. That is a £30 game, so to get a net cost of the Wii on it's own, you can subtract it from its £180 price tag. I don't see what all of you Americans are moaning at; the European Wii costs more than an American Xbox 360! I won't use any of that photo editting rubbish, nor will I buy the browser. I will use the Wii as a gaming console, and I don't fancy this path that all gaming consoles seem to be going down. They are all trying to offer more than they should be. It is a gaming console. It is not a PC. It can't do a PCs job better than a PC can! The virtual console goods okay, but again, I don't have a use for it. I prefer playing the older games on their origonal consoles. What's more, the Wii points pricing is pretty confusing. It all works out nicely in dollars, but I can't even remember how many points I could get for £1. I love the idea of the Mii channel. Not everyone likes putting their picture on the web for everyone to see, but a cartoony look alike is the perfect thing to hide behind. I feel that the Wii is made a lot more for people like me: not much money as he spends it all on older games, little TV, a wireless router, tons of Nintenfriends, and a Dad who likes bowling. People who do have a HDTV will feel that they will be leaving their gorgeous television unfulfilled. I think it is those who will feel disappointed at the information Nintendo have given out. Also add in that the Wii isn't a bargain either; although not expensive in comparison to the competition. However, the controller looks like a fantastic thing and some of the games will be extremely fun to play at a friend's house. I'll see you online, dudes!
