@kindlewithcare @franken_stein The original reviews were all hype haters. The ratings are slowly starting to climb because the people who don't buy into the rubbish reviews, such as kevins, are starting to give positive feedback. People should be interested in Destiny. Its a great game with unique customization, great PvE boss battles and things to look forward to in the future.
To the people coming here late and looking over the review to get an idea. Do yourself a favor and go buy this. Or, keep it on the to buy list for the holidays or when you upgrade to a new console. It's mighty fun and super entertaining.
I honestly think bungie has a lot more layouts for content, weapons and new strikes and bosses. Bungie is on top of their games. Destiny is their baby. I see a lot of future content and character customization. 9/10 for me. As you said, the story was lackluster and could have made more of an impact.
Yea. It's one of those games that I didn't let reviews or special critics ruin for me. I'm so happy I didn't buy in to their Mumbo jumbo. I had to experience this world for myself, I'm glad I did.
Yet they give those other games 8 and 9s. I think Kevin rode the hype train a little too hard and fell when destiny wasn't what he expected. None the less, this game shouldn't be lower than a 7.5. It's a grinder and I'm enjoying everything about it, especially my exotic weapon bounty that's gonna take me 3 weeks.
