Finally. Madden has had a stranglehold on the NFLPA for 30 years, and as such there was no real competition, so every year they put out the same game with minor tweaks, to a captive audience. I have been gaming long enough to remember 2K when it was a legit competitor to Madden. To eliminate the competition, EA bought exclusive rights to the NFLPA. I have only played a couple Maddens since that time, and neither of them were memorable.

The real problem here is that even if you are a supporter, you may never get what you paid for. I bought in for 20$ a couple years back.

The other problem is no promised release date yet, and if a game is developed for too long, there is a good chance that by the time it ever does release, it will already be outdated.

One of, if not the most hated man in gaming. Surprises me that people still get behind him.
