[QUOTE="tlutz12"]

Two mains points that most people on the PS3 seem to be having trouble grasping...

1. Join a squad!!!!! This isn't CoD, you actually need to work as a team to win and there is no easier way than to simply join a squad. It just takes a second and it has many benefits (points modifiers to level faster, spawning on squadmates, etc etc)

2. 'Spot' enemy units!! Just put an enemy unit/vehicle in your crosshair and hit Select. Its that easy. The enemy will be marked with an orange dot over their heads and on the minimap for a few seconds. If anyone kills them during this time, you get a points bonus for spotting them. Its easy and makes team work much more effecitve. Do it always.

Cannot agree with you more on 2, spotting helps your teammates and you as you get some points if you aren't able to deliver the final blow and the dude you were shooting at.

As for 1 I disagree really, even if you're not in squad but communicating well I think you will be a major asset to your team, teamwork is definitely very crucial in the game but you can still participate without being in a squad.

you can only communicate with members of your squad......so if you want to do it effectively i'd suggest joining one. otherwise you're just mumbling to yourself.

the official sony headset is GARBAGE! i had to trade it in after just a few days because even with the settings fully cranked it could barely pick up my voice unless i started yelling, and i'm definitely not softspoken. nobody could hear me online. it sucks.

the logitech cordless vantage headset for PS3 is by far the best i've ever used on the PS3. (i've tried several in my quest to find the perfect one). this beats them all, hands down.
