Eh, I like the NXE update.

And I only used the term "next-gen" as a sort of filler to sanctify which consoles I was talking about, if the subject was just "The three consoles have been on the market for at least 2 years." I could've been talking about the PS1, SNES and the Genesis. Who knows?

And I used to be a so-called PS3 fanboy, and it hurt me on the inside when people said the PS3 would be dreamcasted out. Teeheehee. The PS3 had a great year and I wish I could give everyone at Sony a high-five.

The 360 had a great year as well.

The Wii is still a big piece of dog doodoo to put it simply. Okay, that was immature, but I don't think it had a good year games wise.

How do you think each console is doing? How do you think people's opinion on the consoles have changed?

In my opinion, I be thinkin' that the Wii has lost alot of it's heat and the PS3 stole most of it. With the Wii releasing crappy third-party game after crappy third-party game, i'm starting to wonder if it will last as long as speculated. The PS3 has just hit 14 million PSN users and the system itself has sold around 18 million units. The 360 is still doing mighty fine, with my opinion changing on it greatly since the release of the NXE. I think it has sold around 25 million units, and I'm pretty sure the Wii is selling the best right now, but most of that is from the hype of the release of the console. I'm not sure if anyone agrees with me on this, but I think that everyone that wanted a Wii, has a Wii. The sales numbers for the console will go on a moderate decrease every year until Nintendo finally gives up and makes a new console. I know the Wii HD is coming out, but not until 2011, and by that time no one will be interested in a "unique, family-fun experience". And if critics think that Deadly Creatures is a dark, highly graphical title, then the Wii is in trouble. I hope the PS3 and 360 both do very well in the long run, but for know I would like to hear the community's opinion. And please note i'm not being a "cow" or a "lemming", I'm just being a human who's voicing his opinion on one of gaming's most talked-over subjects.

EDIT: The Wii title is called Deadly Creatures correct? It's the one where you play as a scorpion and you have to fight a snake.

I strongly agree there. I could say the same thing about 360. Or Wii even.

How every single 360 fanboy keeps insisting that MGS4 will come to the 360. Sit up and face the facts kiddo, it's never gonna grace your white and green machine (black for the one who purchased the barely elite). I do own both the PS3 and 360 myself, and I think I know which one is the better system (PS3 for those of you who haven't figured out I enjoy my PS3 ALOT more than my 360.)

But seriously, here are two major reasons that MGS4 would never come to the 360.

1) It uses the dual layer blu ray disc, which holds up to 50GB of data. MGS4 takes full advantage of that and im willing to say it fills up at least 49.5GB of that disc. If it were coming out on 360, then it'd be placed on 6 discs, that wouldn't be vry convienent now would it?

2) The game is published by Sony... why would Sony realease a game onto the 360?

THis isn't being a fanboy here, this is just usuing common sense.

Is it just me or does the MLG need more games? I mean Halo and Gears of War are nice and all, but would some Resistance, Motorstorm, and Brawl make the MLG seem better? Im just sayin ya know?
