I thought it was a fairly good movie, i love how much detail there was in the foliage and other smaller items. People should definitely check out the other Ghibli movies.
Can't effing wait for this. I gotta re-read the book before this comes out. This is still going to be two parts correct? I heard they were going to do one movie for The Hobbit, and then another movie to bridge the time gap between it and LOTR. Not sure if that's still happening though.

That is no longer the case. The Hobbit is now split into two movies.
