I dislike DRM like the ilk of SecuROM and those that require the disk to be in the drive for online verification first of all because I resent being effectively spied upon by some DRM organisation and secondly they're extremely intrusive & restrictive to the consumer, it isn't fair at all to us. Steam on the other hand is I believe the way forwards, it is by far the most fair to all parties - and don't tell me it's unfair because it requires internet access once a month to verify the game files, find me a PC or Laptop that doesn't have a connection at least once a month and I'll give you a medal. Lastly it seems to me that companies like EA are hiding behind claims of piracy in order to slap extremely unfair DRM on games in order to rake in more cash, in my most humble opinion if you own a game, DVD, CD or whatever you should be able to do whatever you want with it, anywhere, any amount of times so long as it's for your own personal use.

Looks rather quite good to me, I'll be replacing the shoddy Vista 64bit OS I was saddled with when I built/bought my current gaming rig. It gimps my machine immensely, its so piss poor for actual work that I have to all of my actual computing work on an ancient computer I bought in 2002 and had to dust off for university. Rather pathetic in my opinion but hooray for Windows 7, I don't have to get another HDD and buy Mac OSX to work on!

Got to say the PC version of GTAIV is shockingly under-optimised, a 3.00Ghz Quad Core with a GeForce 280 GTX, 4GB RAM and plenty HDD space struggled with the game with all settings in high (not including no AA support, which is poor in itself) squeezed out 13fps. That's disgraceful, you simply don't release a game that won't run on currently available hardware, even Crysis as hefty as it's requirements are can still perform at around 30fps on ultra high settings on a good PC but GTAIV doesn't look anything near as good as Crysis nor is it as complicated in terms of physics and the like. There's no excuse, there is a distinct reason why GTAIV for PC is Rockstar's worst scoring game released to date - it's buggy, broken and an abysmal port of a great game.

Unfair comparison with Fallout 3, that game is whacked out on the PS3 and everybody knows it - even bethseda as much as admitted it when they announced they were working on a patch for the pathetic attempt they made the first time around.

Got to say I haven't liked the OTT, anime-esque approach that the C&C series has taken on since EA took over Westwood Studios. Yeah sure the C&C series up to then had been a bit tongue-in-cheek but things were always relatively plausible in terms of technology available and the scenarios. The latest attempt at milking the franchise has resulted in something that looks like they let circus clowns design everything and the plot is just awful even if have admitted it themselves.

Wishful thinking, nothing can save the 360 in japan - it sells worse than the PS2 on a month-by-month basis. They'd have done better to slash prices in the U.S. and Europe.

aafreund91, this is not PSP2 it is a more refined PSP - if you expected anything more it's to you whom the epic fail belongs.

This could be very interesting, depending on how much the USB tuner costs I may invest in this as it could be a very viable alternative to paying for a service like Sky. Edit: Ploppy, the PS3 uses surprisingly little power considering the size of the cell processor and the fans although this is still more than the 360 uses and amazingly less than the Wii does.
