Project Morpheus is probably going to get slashed first. Its a chancy, expensive, gimmicky side project. Despite its hype, a lot of people don't even know about or want to try VR, let alone shell out a lot of money on a set they can only use for their console. VR is fledgling tech, its niche tech, not something a company that is literally bleeding money can afford to dip their toes into. Beyond that, slash and burn their other unprofitable subdivisions, some corporate wide scale-backs and hiring competent executives is always good. That's all I got for now, good luck Sony.

Halo looks gorgeous, EA is full of it..no surprise there, but Sony's massive losses, wow they need to get their act together. Winning the battle on one front but losing the war completely. I don't invest in stocks, but if I did, I know I wouldn't be putting my money on Sony (MS, regardless of personal bias, is doing pretty damn well right now)

With those figures, its time to do some major restructuring, getting a team of accountants, pour over the numbers, find some competent executives, hack n' slash what's bleeding money, scale down productions, not making chancy buys and doing everything in their power to insure that investors are going to start seeing increasing dividends in the next 5 years or so. If Sony can do all of that, they have a good chance of being on the right path. 2bil ain't exactly a whole lot when we're talking about major corps. but it does not bode well for investors.

@wowwow27 Pick it up on sale though. Its a good game, maybe not worth your 60 bucks but certainly worth your time. Don't kick it aside b/c its not as good as everyone wanted it to be, in the end, a fun time is what matters. And I assure you it delivers, so either get it on sale or rent it, this is what I hate about hype, once a game fails to live up to it, people act like the game is trash or that it betrayed them. It's not really, but to each his own.

@waffleiron88 @thehollowones lol, zeroed in on that line huh? Yep, fairly apt analogy, minus the guns and armor and aliens...maybe.

@Jestersmiles @thehollowones I love BL2, lvl 50 Zero bruh, but it doesn't have competitive MP or the gorgeous vistas, not that it isn't hilarious but shooting at things feels as repetitive there as it does here, so there's some debate here, mind you. However they feel like very very different games and also not from the same year, mind you. I wasn't saying Destiny is the best thing in its genre, period, just the best new thing out right now.

Uh oh, here come the detractors. ( I refuse to use "hate" as a noun by adding -er to the end of it. It's the stupidest thing this generation has engendered since the "hashtag"...#oldman #rant) Anyways, good review, but IMO I'd rate it a very solid 8, mate.

There's a lot about this game that I love and it just goes to show you need to try things out for yourself while also minding professional reviews, his cons are valid, however his cons are also lessened by the fact that such things did not nearly impact my enjoyment as much as his. I honestly love the vast levels that seem like they just keep going despite the fact that you've killed like a million things already, I love the shooting mechanics and varied weapons, the different subclasses and armor. It's a very tight and polished game, and for an out of the box, online-oriented game, that's awesome. Of course it does get tedious after long stretches but then I play some PvP and then suddenly PvE feels fresh again, its a good, very time consuming cycle and a blast for me to play. But the story does suck, it sucks awful bad and I feel like if it had a true blue SP campaign I'd be singing a different tune, but it doesn't and as a result the plot feels like its there just to justify your being there, much like p.orn, Destiny is like p.orn. Yep.

I went into this game not expecting the whole world to be given to me, not expecting the game to be the greatest thing since polio vaccines and the Beatles and that's what I always read is "wrong" with it, that it didn't live up to the "hype". The hype that people drummed up into their own head and then blame Bungie for capitalizing on when that is literally what any company would do in this situation, no business man would down play their game for fear of "over hype", that's just a good way to bleed money. Maybe I'm easy to please, maybe I'm just not "hard-core" enough to be any more dubious of this title or maybe I just missed the train on its way out and found something very solid when I walked up to it.

Anyways, that's my two cents, I recommend this game, its the best thing out right now in its genre, especially for Halo lovers who can't wait for the MC collection. I'm just going to ignore the brash, circle-jerk of detractors below and hope that this comment in some way helped somebody approach this game in a level-headed manner who will soon find its not nearly as bad as what others say it is.

"I think it was $350, don't quote me on that.", Puts it directly into the description. Stay classy GSpot.

Anyways, wearable tech sounds good, but between phones and tablets, that's convenience enough. Watches are largely just fashionable and functional accessories to wear with button-ups and such. I wear my watch all the time, it beats the hell out of reaching into my pocket every 5 seconds for my phone (Nokia Lumia, fyi).

Bosses and professors won't look at you funny if you just want to check time (especially during tests where pulling phones out might get you tossed from your exam), you can check your watch much faster than your phone, and it looks a lot better too, fashion wise. People think Watches are out of date but I find they're still very very useful, fashionable and extremely convenient, that said, the only thing your watch needs to do, is to tell time. It doesn't need to do one more damn thing unless you're getting it specifically for running.
