@flaringafro: But see, as I just mentioned above this, they did fix it quickly. Like very, very quickly. The new Microsoft CEO is good stuff, it's nice to finally have someone who has their head on straight.

Anyone who expects any, a-n-y online service to never, ever go down should lower those expectations.

I was happy that both times, they went ham on the outage and got it back to functional so fast. That's good enough for me, a company that's not going to piss pot around while gamers are in the dark.

Yes, I pay $60.00 a year too, but again, things happen. This is just one of those things.
