@saltymemesoup: How can a game with these graphics pull a 9/10? There's a couple reasons for this. First is because the graphics are, objectively speaking, outstanding. Second is because the review score is based on gameplay and how much enjoyment the reviewer had playing the game. Despite your response to Millionsedge below a review does not necessarily break a game down into it's elements and independently review each one. That is not how it works.

@jwrebholz: I agree mostly but there is one significant point you miss about the purposeful inclusion of the VA's gender identity. There are still many cases of people with that status being fired or turned away from jobs based on that characteristic alone whether at Hobby Lobby or for acting roles. So it is important for many people to be confronted with the information that yes, the person who did this and did it well is trans. That sends a message to people, especially those on the fence on the issue that this is something that's just fine being normalized.

@PrpleTrtleBuBum: That's true but I think it speaks to a larger issue in modern gaming. I know games are infinitely more complex than ever and therefore so much harder to test, but we can't be content with unfinished products with game breaking bugs at release. Even online games that are meant for a long life with continuous content updates should, at release, have enough content that they would be considered a complete game.

@ronaldmcreagan: Actually he did or they were written in his name based on his near future military universe.

I started to see this game's trailers having no knowledge of any attitude on the part of the developer and now that I've played it I couldn't care less, it's fun. I played the beta and then pre-ordered that same day. This game is too good to die young. The "frantic" play is not at all overwhelming. My K/D in CoD: IW was something like .2 because I couldn't keep up with the fast movement and powerslides and double jumps, wall runs, etc but with Lawbreakers I have no trouble holding my own in a match and getting plenty of kills. The game is fast paced and the characters, while having no personality, are fun to play. I just don't get the trashing of this game I've had nothing but good times and I really hope it makes a comeback.

@xenomorphalien: What bias? It says on the game's page that the game is on PC and Xbox One. Their review was based on the PC version. What exactly are they "not" trying to hide?

I have a 980ti and 5820K processor and I can play these games on high if not on ultra and never see a noticeable drop in frames. I have no idea what kind of benchmarks you guys were using.
