Yeah, what the hell? There are NO "hyper-realistic games" at the moment. ARMA III may be realistic in terms of simulating infantry (although humans are still too much like walking health bars), but doesn't seem to aim for it when it comes to aircraft, ships and ground vehicles.

@surferosh: I agree! It's just dull laypeople who reject games or treat them worse just because they weren't growing up with them and feel it's something alien.

@surferosh: That's probably because all the things you mentioned aren't interactive and people think this fact "justifies" them. In case of watching movies, they are considered observers of those supposedly lewd activities while in games they are partakers. The latter role is of course taken by media more seriously.
