RRoD is no big deal unless a few weeks without your game system is something horrible for you. As for the capabilities and reasons to make a purchase, ever heard of research? Its a thing people do to help them make decisions, go ahead and try it.tktomo01

Lol, I actually enjoyed my time off when my 360 was in the shop. Gave me some free-time to pursue other interests. Also led me to cancel my gold membership, because of those other interests.

Bioware has had sex and relationships in their games all the way back to the Baldur's Gate Trilogy. Their games have also always been adult oriented, except for Sonic Chronicles, so their games are not meant for the wee ones.

I do have to say that the voice acting in all of the videos I've seen are just increadible. Feels like I'm watching a movie.

You definitly will not get everything out of the game if you rent it. Its more of purchase game like Fallout. You do have to remember that this game was released in 2006, so its not going to be 2008/2009 standards. Wait for Elder's Scrolls 5 for that. Also for the remake about how you think they sound corny. There was only like 6 different voice actors so of course its not going to sound perfect.

Warranty: 1 year warranty, just like with any system. There are some exceptions though. There is a three year warranty with the RROD, so you wont have to worry if it ever happens to you. They will replace it for free and ship you the box. Also, if this ever happens you can ask for them to compensate you in some way shape or form. They will not mind giving you a free game, controller, accessorites, ect.

Movies: Only DVD format, no Blue Ray. This really isn't an issue though, if you plan to keep your PS3.

Online: Gold Membership: A monthly fee to play unlimitedly online with other individuals. $7. Or you can buy a 13 month package for only $50 if I'm not mistaken. Also allows you to streammovies for freethrough your XBox if you havea Netflix membership.

Silver Membership: No monthly fee. Gives you access to downloadable content, such as movies, tv shows, music, add-ons, ect. No multiplayer cababilities unless you play MMO's. If you only play MMOs then you subscribe to the games servers, not XBox live.

Hope this helps.

My question for you is what is your main reason for deciding to switch?

For Multiplayer

Halo 4, because the gameplay has always been there and will probably always be there.

Not Call of Duty 7, because that means that it would be made by Treyarch. Reason being is that if MW 2 is the 6th Treyarch would be the 7th. Second reason being is that Infinity Ward has dropped the Call of Duty name. It is now its own series.

For Single Player

Elders Scroll 5. Elder's Scroll five is being made by Bethesda, makers of Fallout 3 and Oblivion. We do not know yet if they are going to be the company thats going to make Fallout 4. Instead it might be the team thats making Fallout: Las Vegas who by the way were the original creators.

I'm a big fan of the Baldur's Gate PC series and it should come to no surprise that I'm excited about Dragon Age: Origins.

This is the new trailer for Dragon Age: Origins and I have to say that EA and Bioware did a fantastic job making this one.

And the idea of Local Co-op in Oblivion makes me feel sick, Fable 2's was a travesty, I wouldn't like to see Bethesda repeat their terrible mistake.

Midders

Local co-op sounds horrible but i would love online co-op.

Well, if online co-op seems like a good idea then what would be wrong with a full-blown MMO?

The problem is that most people think that if Elder Scrolls become an MMO it would end their precious series. When in fact it would be a seperate side project within the universe of Elder Scrolls, not part of Elder Scrols V, VI, VII, ect.

Better company equals better results. Never liked Fable to much. To quick to be a single player game and to many empty promises.

I think local co-op could work if done correctly. Would be hard though in an open world game. Online co-op though would work best.

If consumers are ripped off by retailers than its the majority of the consumers fault (except for the case where the retailer flat out lied). Referring to the article about the wii, if Gamestop wants to sell a wii for 250 let them, especially if people are willing to buy.

Let me explain.

If the guy thought it was a rip off why did he purchase it? Obviously by purchasing the wii, the customer showed that he wanted the product and valued a used wii at $250. If he didn't value it at that price then he would not have purchased it. Thus because he did purchase it, it contridicts his thought of believing it was a rip off. If he truly believed he was getting ripped off then he would not have purchased the wii.

*sigh* I hate it when people are not educated consumers. I infact saved my parents $50 a month on thier cable bill because they had a package with extra channels that they and myself do not watch....

Gears of War 2: The multiplayer was just horrible. After finding many problems in their offline multiplayer, I just could not stand their online multiplayer.

Baja Edge of Control: Boring and too hard at the beginning.

Prince of Persia Trilogy: Only the first one will play on my 360.

My brother's purchase of Resident Evil 5: The enemys' IQ is dumbed down by the horrible, horrible controls. Example: A zombie runs at me when I'm twenty feet away, but as soon as it gets within five feet it becomes a slow, cumbersome enemy.
