@AzatiS: MMO as a genre died in the western world. It is not a sustainable model. From pricing perspective, with 15 USD per month you need to bring a full AAA game on the table every 4 months. Most of them cant add content even one third of this. People stick around for a year to see and when they don't see new content, they move.
@Gomtor: they were dominating for years. As long as the 10-15 year old group stays as the dominant customer, these type of games will lead. Big game companies love that because it is much less effort for them. They don't need to worry on a coherent plot. They can sell the same game every year with a few fine tuning. Perfect market
