Lost Odyssey and Cry On sound much more interesting than any of those games, but I'll give FF just one more chance to redeem itself with FF13. It has sucked from FFX onward.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma uses XBOX 1 gameplay mechanics, so they had plenty of horsepower to improve visuals (1080p, 60fps, etc). In Ninja Gaiden 2 they're implementing a bunch of new features they couldn't in the Xbox original due to hardware constraits, so that's why it's not as impressive as NG Sigma and Heavenly Sword (the latter which runs at half the resolution and framerate of Ninja Gaiden). That, and they've still got time to polish the graphics. Please get informed before hating.
How would an FF7 remake help the PS3? Games like MGS and RE were remade on for a platform where many people hadn't played the originals. It makes no sense to devote tens of millions of dollars and several years to developing a game on the same console family just to please a couple of rabid fanboys.
GT5 features 60fps, 16 cars on track, and 1080p. PGR4 features 30fps, 8 cars on track, and 720p. And in the end GT5 STILL looks better. The only thing remarkable about PGR4 is the weather, which will also be a feature in the full game of GT5.
