@BamaGoatt Good idea. I don't plan on doing it again either. I hope others can learn from my experience too.

@SecularSage Rome wasn't built in a day. Nintendo has finally taken the plunge into online gaming, and I would say it's off to a great start. Personally, I enjoy the new Miiverse. I can see Nintendo's vision, and like the direction they're headed. They're not there yet, but with time, I'm sure it can become competitive with the other services.

I hate the mindset of having a nanny state, but I gotta tell you, it's a pleasant surprise to not see a swear word in every other posting. I also enjoy seeing all the aspiring young artists' works of art.

Lastly, have you even tried out the Wii U? Friend codes are gone, and have been replaced by a single screenname.

@BamaGoatt Lol. I was one of the idiots. I had never bought anything before purely with the intention of reselling it for more money. When the original Wii came out, I remember how awful it was waiting outside of Walmart overnight in the middle of November just to get my hands on one. That experience, combined with all the reports that there would be Wii U shortages, and I was convinced it was a solid investment. I was wrong. When I saw how flooded the market was with Wii U, I got scared. I put it on craigslist for cheap, made $35, and won't do it again.

I always called those poachers awful people, and then I turned around and did it myself. Karma taught me a lesson, and I was lucky to not lose any money.

I bought it. I played it non-stop for 3-4 weeks. It's pretty cool, but is lacking exclusives, and is lacking a player-base. As more people buy it, and I have more people to play online with, I'll play it more. Also, give me a game exclusive to the Wii U. I'm disappointed that many of the Wii U games can be had for 75% off in the Steam winter sale.

In regards to Gamestop, and number of games sold per console. I dislike buying new games at Gamestop. They never have any deals on new games, and I absolutely hate it when my "new" game is lacking plastic wrap. As soon as they open it, it's not new. I pre-ordered my Wii U at Best Buy, and already have 5-6 games for it that I bought new, as well as a pro controller and a hard case for the game-pad.

I believe the rumors of no second-hand games on the new Playstation/Xbox have been around for a few years. It's crazy that it's actually coming to reality. Nintendo is looking better and better everyday. Their new console is already out, and we know it doesn't do this.

I also wonder if this will be limited to exclusive titles. I don't see developers going for this on multiplatform games. Sure, they would benefit if every game had to be bought new, but since not every console will support this "feature," people will just buy the game for the console without this draconian bs.

I live in the USA, so luckily this doesn't effect me...yet. I hope this problem is resolved quickly. Somebody mentioned IP filtering/blocking out users based on country, and that sounds like the most reasonable and plausible idea. You may be thinking that this policy doesn't effect you because you don't live in Europe, but you're wrong. This mature content block in such a huge area is going to discourage developers from making mature games for the eShop period. Why should a developer create games for the Wii U eShop and have a limited audience, when neither XBLA or the PSN Store impose such restrictions? C'mon Nintendo, get your act together, or the way of Sega you will soon go.

Will definitely be picking this up; I enjoyed the first game a lot. May have to go back and replay the first game after watching this trailer.

That seems pretty awesome. I like both ideas very much, but especially the google maps street view. As the other commentor said, using street view on the computer feels clunky. Using a gamepad to navigate seems much more fluid.

@Kcoshiob This video was extremely boring. I gave it five minutes, and then I couldn't handle any more.

"Xbox Live specifically is arguably the company's greatest success; it's an effective moneymaker already, but more importantly, it's probably the best example of how a games service should work, with the exception of Steam." Steam for the win. 141 games and counting. I own that many games on my Wii, 360, Gamecube, Xbox, Dreamcast, PS1, N64, SNES, Genesis, and NES combined. It's just more convenient, and there are much better deals.
